Hazards of the IUD.
1. The IUD has a life span, especially the metal type ring, if not replaced or taken out in time, it will rust in the body, and even the body will also produce a rejection reaction.
2. The IUD is not suitable for every woman and varies from person to person.
News:An old woman in her seventies, who had been menopausal for 20 years, had an ultrasound examination for abdominal pain and found that the birth control ring placed in her uterus had "grown" to 4.5 cm in size. The medical staff of Maoming Maopec Hospital performed an operation to remove the rusted metal ring. (Source: Information Times)
Through my research last term, I found that there are many women who are not suitable for the IUD and so suffer in silence from the pain it causes them.
I wanted to use a material test to simulate the effects of rusting, on the human body.
I choose the most common material used for IUD: iron, but the delivery is still on its way. I decided to experiment with bubble dye first instead.
Dyes: Alcohol dyes
Papers: different kinds
Dyeing bubble water ratio:(water: oil: hand soap: alcoholic dye = 1:2:2:3)
I put water, oil, hand sanitizer and alcohol dye into the cup one after another
Blowing bubbles in a cup with a straw
I used vellum, cardboard and watercolour paper respectively:
vellum:
cardboard:
watercolour paper:
Fail:
It doesn't arrive as effective and the bubble shape is not clear in its lines.
