IUD is a birth control device worn by women after they have given birth to a baby I then wanted to experiment with a combination of baby carriers and birth control rings associated with babies of that era.

I used a combination of copper wire and cotton gauze to simulate the pain of an IUD embedded in the skin, and how dramatically childbirth can change a woman.
