I have still learnt a lot this semester. Firstly, I learnt about the new concept of Utopia and attached it to action, although the early stages of my research on utopia were the least smooth for me, at first I was too obsessed with how to design a perfect utopia, which led to forgetting that the essence was to change the crippled status quo, so I started from scratch to organize I started from scratch and decided that I wanted to promote tolerance and understanding of people with colour impairment so that more people would be aware of this group. Secondly, my research process became clearer and I learned to use a variety of perspectives and approaches to the topic. For example, I used the narrative structure, which is often used in architectural design, to explore the emotions of the protagonist and come up with the ideal scenario, and I also used the manifesto I learned last year in my brand design. This is some of the progress I've made.
It was also the first time I had ever done a design for a typeface. At first, I didn't understand how the letters could be transformed from shapes to letters, but after asking my teacher and classmates for advice, I realised that I needed to sort them into groups and connect them in order.
After taking this course, I feel that I will also be more aware of life. During my research, I found that there are many details around us that are worth exploring, just like colour vision disorders, and while I was shocked at the sheer number of people in this group, it also allowed me to gain more new inspiration in the study of art. Although people with normal colour vision cannot relate to their perspective, they actually seek help in the invisible cries that drive our tangible designs.
