News: Extremely colour blind 7th- grader sees vivid colours for 1st time
Jonathan Jones, a 12-year-old American boy, was born with severe colour blindness. One day in the Science Class, Jonathan was given a pair of special glasses by the principal, who also suffers from colour blindness. It wasn't until this moment that he could appreciate what many took for granted.
Jonathan took off his glasses and began to cry. His classmates offered him good wishes. The principal and teachers also gave him a warm hug and pat on the back. The family started a GoFundMe page to help others and Today Jonathan has got his own pair of coloured glasses.
Congenital colour blindness is one of the genetic disorders that often follows children at birth and affects them for the rest of their lives. The headmaster used special glasses to help Jonathan see a 'new world'.
The utopia I wanted to create is to help more people with congenital colour vision deficiency to live better.
